Garden Radish

Steve's garden is now ready to pick the radish. Here's the first one picked.

We only planted radishes, tomatoes, sunflowers and pumpkins in the garden this year. We don't have a very green thumb.

Grapes & Food

We purchased 2 grape plants today at Gertens. I've been wanting grapes to grow along our fence for 6 years now and finally got some that already have grapes growing. I'm looking forward to them growing larger and spreading out over the next few years. We had a neighbor when I was growing up that had grapes growing all over his fence. We'd pick them and one year we made grape jelly. I'm hoping some day to do the same with my kids but we might need a few more vines first.

Father's Day at Valley Fair

It was a great day to go to Valley Fair for Father's Day. Once again there were little crowds of people so it was very easy to get on the rides with hardly a wait.

Here we are ready for the rides and to have lots of fun..

Logan and I rode the Farris Wheel while Celina and her Papa rode the Corkscrew Roller coaster. Logan would have liked to go on all the big rides but he's just too short at just 43" with shoes on. He at least made the 42" cut off for some rides but that didn't get him on too many.

Just looking up and wishing he could go on the BIG rides..

The ball factory. The kids loved this one. They both chased the balls and shot them out of various guns, canons etc. It was nice and cool in there so we stayed awhile to let the kids run and play.

Tree house slide....

The flume. I think we rode this 5 or more times. This was Logan's favorite and the only "Big" ride he could go on. There was no wait so we were able to get right back on with a short walk.

The big soaker Boat ride. Celina loved this one!! She wanted to do it over and over. Then stand on the bridge to get extra soaked again.

Tim & Tia's Party

We were invited over to Tim & Tia's house (Jaydee's sister's house) for a pre-Father's Day party. They rented this obstacle course/basket ball court jumper for the kids.

Wee.. down the slide both kids go.. I tried out the jumper & slide and it is a fast ride down!
