My Handy Man!!

It's amost done. The shower just needs a few more tiles on the ceiling and then grout.
The finished shower shelf!! It turned out so nice!!

Work in progress and it's getting there!!

The precision...the concentration....The...the???

Swim, Swim lessons

To Swim or not to swim??

Logan is in Swim lessons at The Grove. I did a big Oops on Monday and got the time lessons started mixed up. We ended up just swimming at the water park. Wednesday we were back again for swim lessons and were there on-time. I'm not too impressed with the lesson. The kids stand in the cold water shivering and hardly have any "swim" time which is more like float in the water for a few seconds. I think we'll spend our "lesson time" in the warm water park working on going under water, floating and swimming. I think Logan will get more out of this then the so called lessons!!

Candy Lane

The Brownie Troop went to Candy Lane in Woodbury today. We had a tour of the store and each girl got to make a candy pizza.

The store owner giving us a tour of Candy Lane. The girls were all in candy heaven!!

Good Deed!

Our Good Deed!! Belle, Danielle and Celina went door to door in our neighborhood to collect food for the food shelf.
Bagging all the food to take to the food shelf.

Collected food from Southern Lakes neighborhood. A Big thanks to every family that made a donation today.

Off to the food shelf in Cottage Grove.

Loading up the grocery cart to wheel into the building.

Bill, a volunteer at the food shelf showed us around and gave the girls a tour. There are over 70 volunteers at the food shelf. It's only open 1 day a week on Tuesdays. Families that come to the food shelf are interviewed and asked what kind of food they eat. The volunteers then bag up the food, toiletries for the families. We donated 53 pounds of food.

The food shelf likes money donations. They can buy food for much cheaper then we can in the stores. In addition to food they also collect Toys for Tots.

The girls should be proud of themselves for helping needy families. We all have so much, it's good to give back to those that aren't as fortunate.

Date Night

Steve and I went out for a Saturday night "Date". We hit the town early and drove directly to the strip mall for a little power shopping before dinner at Jakes. We had our favorite Jake wings and the chicken lettuce wraps. We were home by 9:30, our "Dates" aren't like they use to be. That is...before kids...
