One of my most
cherished things I got from my father after he passed away was his glasses. I got them by accident, they were given to someone else, but never less I treasure them. Through those glasses he saw the world. I still have a part of what my father saw through those glasses throughout his life.
I was given my father's lamp that sat on his desk in his office at work. I've since changed out the lamp shade, the old one was torn. The lamp still works great on top of our piano.
I just have one other treasure that I
acquired by accident and it's my father's old hammer. It doesn't seem like much to remember my father but I have many fond memories of my father using that hammer on various projects while I was growing up.
My Nana. I have lots of hand written letters to remember her by and only a few photos. For some strange reason I was given this plastic deer as a token of
remembrance.
My favorite photo taken of my Nana by myself. My most treasured gift from my Nana, a photo of herself. She hated to be photographed so I was so happy to have taken one of the few she let me take of herself.
