Cascade Bay

I took the kids to Cascade Bay in Eagan today. I've been trying to cross things off my summer to do list with the kids and this is one of them. There were way too many kids there at the pool today. It must have been so over crowded due to the high temperature today of nearly 100*F or at least it felt like it. I've never seen so many people in the water and no one sitting in a chair or on their towels. The kids really couldn't swim plus there were so many people/kids in the water it was hard to keep track of Celina. I made sure Logan stayed by me but ugh!! We left after only being there 1-1/2 hours. I couldn't take it anymore!!! I won't be back anytime soon!!

There he goes. We also waited in line to float on the lazy river. There again it was not much fun, too slow and the tubes were not the best shall we say. Logan and I shared a double tube but he was too small for the hole to sit by himself and it just wasn't very relaxing. I couldn't wait to get out of there!! We even tried to get a bite to eat, ice cream but the food line/building was wall to wall people. I took one look and we got out of there and left the park. I promised the kids ice cream so we drove though Mcd's.

Tonight is the Minnesota Zoo trip but now we are having severe weather that might prevent us from going. I'll wait and see. It's a free night so no big loss.
