Minnesota Zoo or the New Zoo

Dakota Electric had their annual Free night at the Minnesota Zoo or "New" Zoo as I still call it even thought it's no longer new. My kids best friends, Ethan and Danielle with their mother Jackie came with us to the zoo tonight.

We first looked at the snow monkeys

There were baby monkeys!!

The kids were off and running through the tropical gardens. They all quick stopped to look at the animals and then ran off again in search of more to look at.

I tried to do this without flash as my camera again was running out of battery power!! Time to get a second set of rechargeable batteries!!

The Kimono Dragon. He wasn't doing anything as usual.

A cool looking fat bird/ owl looking thing. The kids were off and running so fast I didn't even have time to find out what animal we were looking at most of the time.

Tried to get a indoor/dark photo of the kids looking at the bottom of the aquarium. Sharks and lots of tropical fish swam all around.

Taking a little dinner break, pizza, mac -n-cheese, fried rice.
