I did a lot of work baking all the cookies, breads (muffins, scones, banana bread) rice crispy bars, slushies, hot dogs and Ice pops for our Sweet Treats Stand during our neighborhood garage sale. I was up and baking at 4:30am and had all ready to go by 7:45am this morning when we had our first customers. We were happy to see Jen drive up to get hot, just out of the oven carmel rolls and to be our first practice run selling (thanks a bunch!!). There was a steady stream of customers until I closed shop at 2:00pm.

It turned out to be a great day even with a few bumps throughout the sale. Logan venturning off to "shop" at one point during the afternoon. It just so happened while being in the middle of panic mode with not knowing where Logan was I had the un-pleasure of meeting the Big Fat Mean Guy "Neighbor" on the corner who lives in the what appears to be a vacant house. Seems I neglected to "get his permission" when I placed the sign on his yard at 7am to advertising. I thought the "city" really owns so many feet into your yard?? I said sorry, it's just for a day and I can take it down if it's not okay. Thankfully I held back considering the extreme stress I was experiencing at that moment. I really should have said nice to meet you neighbor!! Instead I offered him a cookie for letting me place my sign in his yard. Many neighbors said they heard those 2 were moving, can't be soon enough for me!!! I'll be cheering when the "For Sale" sign goes up and I'll have to let them know it!! I'll send over a farewell plate of reminder cookies for being a super jerk. I did move the sign to the other side of the road with permission. I need to get over this but Wow!! Petty little things!! Get A Life BIG FAT MEAN NEIGHBOR GUY!! MOVE SOON!!
