The Black Hills of South Dakota

Driving through the Black Hills of South Dakota we saw a lot of animals.

The beautiful fall colors. All the trees had bright yellow leaves.

There were female deer every where we looked.

We went through many tunnels carved out of the mountains.

I got a lot of great deer/animal photos on our trip. I think we saw more animal in the fall then I ever have in the summer months visiting.

The mountain ground was covered with pine needles, leaves and pine cones.

Wild Turkeys were every where a long side the roads. Something we hardly ever see and it was a first for us in the Black Hills.

This was our only Buck we saw the whole trip. I got a great photo. He almost doesn't look real he was standing so still.

Driving by scenery in the Black Hills.
