Fischer's Croix Farm Orchard

Logan's preschool class took a trip to the Fischer's Apple Orchard today. I went along with Logan and his class. It was a very cold day with the temp in the 50's and very windy.

The ride on the bus to the apple orchard.

The kids all got a lesson on the different types of apples, taste and color. They learned how to pick an apple and off we went to find a good one of our own.

The kids all liked the taste testing part..

Logan finding the perfect apple to pick. There it is!!

Yummy apples.

Apple in the bag and we are off...

Logan on the wooden train.

The kids got some time to check out all the animals at the orchard. They had chickens and bunnies.

A calf. He was so soft.

Wooden train... all aboard.

We took the wagon ride out to the Corn Maze and around the orchard.

Logan and his Buddy Isabelle.

Tractor ride.

Going through the corn maze.

The pumpkin patch. Not much was left of the vines but we still got instructions on how to walk over the vines and not trip. Funny, I only saw dirt and a few twigs on the ground. Not much of a pumpkin patch.

All the kids got to choose a pumpkin to take home.
Logan found a cute, clean little one.

We had a little snack before boarding the bus to go home. I couldn't wait to get out of there. It was soooo cold.
