South Dakota Road Trip

We left for South Dakota early Wednesday morning for our 9 hour road trip.

We stopped at the Missouri River for a break. It was a very foggy day and you could hardly see the river from the rest stop on top of the hill.

What is it about Wall Drug and their famous signs trying to lure you in to the little town of Wall. We didn't stop but the signs are always a sign that we are getting closer to our destination of Rapid City, South Dakota.

We ate dinner in Rapid City at this cute place called the Firehouse Brewing Company. One of our neighbors recommended the place but maybe that's because he's a fire fighter for Minneapolis???

Upstairs dining... The kids did great on our long drive with many DVD's to watch but were glad to finally get to the Hotel.
